Experience

I've been researching, writing, and managing content in the digital health space since 2016. My areas of experlise include chronic disease prevention (Omada Health), menopause (The Cusp), and elder care (Honor, RubyWell). Prior to focusing on content development, I learned and practiced human centered design as a contract storyteller at IDEO. And I started my writing career back in the '90s as an advertising copywriter then associate creative director. My favorite writing challenges involve taking complex information and making it easy and enjoyable for anyone to wrap their heads around.

What drives me

My passion for writing for family caregivers is a direct result of time I've spent helping my sisters care for our mother during the last year of her life, and now for our father. I'm also a card-carrying member of the Sandwich Generation, with two kids in middle and high school. So empathy runs deep here. A life-long feminist, my personal mission at RubyWell is to use my abilities to help family caregivers (most of whom are women) receive the recognition and compensation they deserve for the crucial contributions they make to their families and our society.

Education

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY.
